TCAT partner, Universal Media Access Networks (former members of XFN Group) shows the world's first (DICE and LongFire enabled!) 1394-based Professional Media Network at Pro Light & Sound Frankfurt 2007. The technology and system are being made available to Pro Audio industry partners on a non-exclusive, licensed basis by Universal Media Access Networks.Universal Media Access Networks has created a brand new system which it describes as offering:
- Support for thousands of audio and video channels (using 1394.1 bridges)
- Support for control over serial and TCP/IP
- Native Ethernet support
- Plug and play support for Ethersound, Cobranet, MADI, MIDI and more
- Guaranteed sample-accurate delivery of audio and video to all connected devices
