Usage of the Colosseum player

Theatres

Workflow of a theatre technician working with the Colosseum player:

• The technicians open a new performance, the program generates a well-arranged file structure.
• They will prepare playlist with the required audio material.
• They will set the system's global behavior - playlists to channels assignment, MIDI control of the playlist etc.
• When using remote files from network, they will automatically be copied to a local hard disk, which prevents drop-outs caused by possible network failure.
• Once the performance is prepared, its schedule can be generated, opened in editor and printed.
• During the performance, the sound engineer has an overview about all of the times, playback status of all playlists and files in the queue.
• The playback can be controlled by keyboard, mouse, touchscreen or via a MIDI controller.
